National Capital Kennel Club and its members are very engaged with all areas of canine research, development and training. 

George Alston Handling Seminar                        September 10-11, 2022 

 

Members listened attentively to  Dr. Dayna Dreger from the NIH Dog Genome Project as she talked about their studies on dog breed development using several genetic tools during our December 7, 2016 meeting. The NIH work also utilizes samples collected at National Capital Kennel Club dog shows.
