National Capital Kennel Club (NCKC) holds meetings at 7:30 pm the first Wednesday of each month at the Casey Community Center, Rt. 355 and 1370, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Every other month programs of general interest augment the regular business meeting. The annual dinner meeting is in May and the holiday party is in Jan. Members meet virtually via Zoom and also host hybrid meetings when necessary.
Membership is open to all persons eighteen years of age and older who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club and subscribe to the mission of the NCKC.
We welcome both new and experienced exhibitors. Members are criticial to the success of National Capital Kennel Club to sustain our 100 year mission of supporting the sport of pure-bred dogs. AKC judges, breeders and owner handlers make up our membership. You will enjoy monthly meetings, seminars, invitations to network at Board dinners and our annual holiday dinner along with working and learning how dog shows operate.

Each applicant for membership must attend at least one club meeting prior to submitting an application for membership, and two meetings prior to becoming a member. Applicants must agree to abide by the NCKC Constitution and Bylaws and the rules of the American Kennel Club. The annual cost for membership is $25 and dues notices are sent out annually with a due date of December 31. Dues may be sent electronically to our treasuer.
