National Capital Kennel Club, Inc. History

 

National Capital Kennel Club celebrated our 100th anniversary and legacy of supporting the sport of purebred dogs in 2014.  Organized in 1914, the club's heart of service to the community is the National Capital area.  Membership is open to all who ascribe to its purpose, and drawn from the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.  NCKC has a rich history serving dignitaries and dog lovers in the Nation's Capital.  Both experienced and novice dog fanciers are welcome to participate in meetings, annual shows, seminars and events, annual dinners and community support for the sport of dogs in AKC Conformation, Obedience and Rally. 

 

National Capital Kennel Club is a Member Club of the AKC.  Visit AKC to learn about your favorite breeds.
